Not only is Strasbourg the capital of Europe, but it is also a cultural hub where local and international artists are thriving.

Strasbourg gathers 9 museums, several theaters (TNS, TAPS, TJP…) and concert venues (Zénith, Laiterie…) as well as an internationally known Opera.

Many cultural events take place in this highly attractive and cosmopolitan city every year. Strasbourg has its own contemporary art fair ST.ART, hosts the European fantasy film festival and is organizing no less than 6 music festivals each year.



The card “carte culture” offers you advantageous prices on your cultural outing:

  • Cinemas : 5€.
  • Shows (theatre, opera…) : 6€.
  • Free entry in 23 museums in Alsace.

The card is for students only and costs 7€. It is free for grant holders and students who just passed their baccalaureate.
